I can't live like this any longer and my babies deserved more.
One day I fell to my knees and I cried out to God, “if you are real, take my life it's yours!”
 I tangibly felt the power and presence of God, I knew He was real, I knew He could change my life, I knew I needed to put my trust in him. I threw all of the drugs and alcohol away and I never had a desire, temptation or withdrawal! I was set free and I have never turned back! 





Today, I am married to the most amazing man on the planet. I have five children and two grandchildren. We have followed diligently  after God, as a result I feel so abundantly blessed in my relationship with Him! Yes, I still have bad days (don't we all), but I have a relationship with the perfect father who knows my needs, takes care of me, and gives me peace through the storms. 

and then I realized...

My dad was married seven times, my parents were divorced when I was five. I only saw my dad a handful of times the rest of my childhood. My mom was married four times and she was my absolute hero. Every marriage except the last was filled with things like adultery, abuse, neglect and addiction.
I have three full siblings and I met another 15 or so siblings at my dad's funeral. My brothers were raised by my dad and my sister bounced back and forth. My sister ended up having an affair with my adopted father. They drained the bank account and ran off and got married. Yep, that made my sister my stepmom and my dad my brother-in-law.
I began to spiral out of control. I started doing drugs and drinking at thirteen, by the time I was seventeen I was pregnant with my first baby girl. A couple years later and I had three children, I was Living a gay lifestyle and was a drug addict/alcoholic that was being abused and trafficked.

My Story

this is where the adventure began...
